FaceTime, Messages won't open with new iOS 17 update

I use my iPad mini to answer my iPhone and send messages. Overnight, my iMessage and FaceTime have logged out on my iPad and won’t let me back in. I keep getting the unable to connect to server message. My Apple ID and password are fine as is my WiFi connection. I’ve also tried using mobile data (Giffgaff on O2 network) and have reset my iPad but nothing is working. I can still access both iMessage and FaceTime on my iPhone. Help?!
