Editing Smart Mailboxes

How do you edit move smart mailbox from one location to another without deleting mail in original folder? Designated location of mailbox as important whereas intended to be in primary mailbox list. When couldn’t edit it, thought could create new mailbox. Then came an ominous warning. So now have two identical folders where they shouldn’t be and which could expand under alarming levels.

Smart Mailboxes re-appear after deletion I have some old Smart Mailbox folders and Smart Mailboxes. When I delete them it takes a while and they are back. I cannot seem to delete them. "Move to Predicted Mailbox" is grayed out. Help! When I wanted to move an email to its folder, (e.g., a Message from "Janice" to the "Janice" folder in the sidebar) I just clicked on Messages and a drop down menu showed a bunch of things including "Janice." I just clicked on that and the email went into the Janice folder. A couple of days ago, it stopped working. Now I see a "Move to Predicted Mailbox" choice that is grayed out. Now I have to drag "Janice" to her folder in the sidebar, and this is a lot more work because my sidebar has so many folders. It involves a lot of scrolling. Is there way to get this feature back?

Setting up a mail smart folder to contain junk mail I am trying to setup a smart folder to contain the mail from the various junk mail folders across multiple email accounts. However, this smart folder is empty. For the moment, I have the smart folder setup to contain just a single junk mail folder from a single account. The single criteria is "Message is in mailbox" and I have selected the "Junk" mail folder with the special junk icon from an mail account. But, the smart folder does not show any messages which are in that Junk folder. Is there any way to have this work? My goal is to be able to see all of the Junk mail across multiple account in a single smart folder so I can easily select all and delete them. I currently have to visit each junk mail folder individually to view or delete the messages in them just in case something was marked as spam incorrectly.
