Connecting EarPods to my MacBook Air

Hello, I have a MacBook Air M1 13'3 and an EarPods with a USB-C but my Mac does not accept EarPods. I don't know what to do. I tried both of the jacks on the left side but vain. If you have any ideas or tips, let me know please. :) Thanks

My new wired EarPods doesn't work on my MacBook The new usb-c wired EarPods don't work even though my computer meets the requirements (M1 MacBook Pro on Ventura 13.6). Is there some missing piece to set these up? Do I just have a defective product? [Re-Titled By Moderator]

Airpods won't connect to new macbook air I recently bought a new macbook air (m2) and my airpods won't connect. I restarted the bluetooth, reset the airpods, tried pairing them, made sure my mac was up-to-date, made sure the airpods were charged, and all of the other things recommended on the forums. Still won't connect. After I made my bluetooth forget the device, the airpods don't even show up as an option on my mac when I try pairing. Please help.

Go to System Settings, go to the Sound menu on the left, and under Output, select the EarPods.
