iPhone 14 escape from single app mode - touch screen is disabled

Playing with my iPhone's Single App Mode (my desire is to have our local avalanche bulletin available in my favourite coffee shop on an iPad stuck to the wall ....... but to restrict that iPad to have only the Avalanche App available).

In my playing, i have gone to Settings / Accessibility / Single App mode, set the Avalanche app as the single app and (mistakenly!) set touchscreen to off.

Now that its gone to lockscreen, I'm not able to get into my phone .....

Tried to do a reset, but of course i can't swipe to restart because my screen isn't 'listening'

Thank you in advance for any thoughts / help please !

Whew !! Fixed it ……..

Did a reset by doing this:

= press and quick-release volume up

= press and quick-release volume down

= press and hold main button (on right side)

……. keep holding ..... slide-to-reset appears

……. keep on holding ….. a long time …. apple will appear (white apple on black background)

= release the button

....... ‘phone is reset and will ‘wake up’

= whew !
