Icloud backup bug on ios 17.2

Theres definitely a noticable bug in the icloud when you go to manually back up your phone on ios 17.2. It seems like nothing but I noticed it. When you go to settings>your name at the top>icloud>manage settings>backups>click your iphone device>backup size>under next backup size IT SAYS LOADING......its like its frozen there. Theres no workaround it. Im hoping they fix it in ios 17.2.1

I have the iphone se 3rd generation just bought it in October and I have the ios 17.2 and I noticed that my icloud storage keeps getting bigger instead of smaller when I manually backup. I deleted my texts everday manually. I was told apple doesnt permantley delete them on the servers side until up to 4 days after I have manually deleted them. Anyways I played around with my phone trying to figure out why my backups are getting bigger not smaller when Ive been deleting texts etc. I noticed that when I went to settings>apple id>icloud>apps using icloud>show all>scroll to messages in icloud the toggle wont turn on. Its STUCK ON OFF. Im wondering if this is a bug in ios 17.2 since its a new feature in this particular ios 17.2. Im also wondering if this is why my storage keeps getting bigger not smaller when Ive deleted texts. This is annoyong it needs to be fixed. Ive been reporting it.

I don’t think it back ups data since the update. I have 2 iPads and neither have backed up since 1/13 and 1/14. “Back up now “ just spins and grows in time remaining. Tried for all overnight and still showed 8 hours left by morning. That never happened before, even with 38G of data. This is a disaster for me as I have art needing back up for my business and have data lost in the last few days too from Procreate!
