It's too late to use your passcode, you now need to reset your phone -

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled or unavailable -

Click on the link for instructions on how to reset your passcode without a computer if you have iOS 15.2 or higher.

If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support

You won't lose anything. Just reset and then restore from your backup.

You do backup your "vital" data, don't you? If not, I guess it's really not that vital to you.

It is so easy, I do it in my sleep (automatic backup).

One more bit of advice, be sure to lock your phone before putting it in your pocket. Then you won't attempt to unlock it accidently (similar to butt dialing) and encounter this situation.

If my own finger print, pascode and icloud cannot help me to recover my device from Unavailable mode and the only option is to erase and loose my iphone's vital data, then I wonder which kind of security iphone is providing us with.

This is one reason why I personally don't want to an iPhone again since 2019 and I don't think I will ever buy an iPhone again after this one that I'm using.

Because your child, girlfriend, friends and any can intentionally or unintentionally make your iPhone unavailable and you will painfully loose your vital data.

I'm seriously disappointed

Apple is providing you with very good security. This feature keeps others from seeing your data. If you don't backup your data regularly, then it is your fault that you lost vital data.

You are welcome to choose whatever phone suits your needs the best.

I know my dear but at least your security credentials should be able to safeguard your data from some misfortunes like this.

I have not forgotten my pass code, I have not forgotten my passwords, I have a trusted pc as well yet I have to loose my data to recover my device.

Apple have to work on that aspect.

IPhone users don't joke with their password and pass code and if these security credentials cannot safeguard you in times like this, how do you call it security. That is my point of view.

Android and phones don't require one to erase your phone to recover it.

Maybe there is something more to it that apple users like me don't know. If not I can't think far.
