Apple ID Suggestions - can't click buttons

I just updated my Macbook Air (M1, 2020) to Sonoma (14.1.2) from Monterey. It says I need to agree to the new Terms and Conditions and update some Apple ID settings. But when I click the buttons to so, nothing happens. No new page, no beach ball, nothing. For both buttons.

See below. Have tried restarting of course. Didn't help.

I could resolve it as follows:

  1. In the "System Settings" go to "Internet Accounts"
  2. Click on your iCloud account
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Delete Account..."
  4. Add your iCloud account again
  5. If you encounter a network error (9454) -> just restart your mac. After login, you should see at the top of "System Settings" your Apple ID

Hi

I have the exact same error. I'm running Sonoma 14.2 on Intel Macbook Pro.

Both buttons "Terms and Conditions" and "Continue" do not work, i.e. nothing happens if I click it.

I already restarted, also restarted in safe mode, also did disk repair...

Console log shows lots of the same errors:

Error getting cloudKitAuthToken: Error Domain=CKInternalErrorDomain Code=1004 UserInfo={CKErrorDescription=<private>, NSLocalizedDescription=<private>}

How can I logout from Apple ID?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Marco
