Echo during phone calls when using CarPlay

When I connect my iPhone 14 Pro Max to my car using Apple Original usb c lightning cable anyone calling me can hear themselves. This doesn’t happen when using the car’s Bluetooth, only when connected to CarPlay. I’m on iOS 17.2

Callers hear echo when i use a bluetooth headset On my iPhone 12 mini people who call me hear an echo when I use a bluetooth headset. There is no echo if I use the speaker phone or talk on the phone. I got a new Plantronics headset as I thought that was the problem. This did not resolve it. Just updated iOS to 15. No help either. How do I resolve the issue? Thanks for your help

Complaints of being able to hear me I recently upgraded from an iPhone 12 promax to the iPhone 14 Pro Max and with the new phone I’m getting complaints from people on the far end of the phone when using CarPlay in my vehicle. Now I haven’t changed my truck there’s nothing blocking the mike, but people are complaining and when I take the phone off CarPlay they can hear me normal is anybody else having this issue, how do I correct?
