Copying cell content from Excel to Shortcuts App

When trying to copy the content from cells on Excel, and then pasting into Shortcuts, it doesn't work. It only recognize the first character of the first cell of the clipboard, no matter if it contains a single or multiple cells. Apparently it tries to paste as a table, but Shortcuts doesn't recognize the format.

Is it possible to force Shortcuts to retrieve the content as simple text instead of as table?

Note: Choose from Menu action also doesn't work with selected cells on Excel.

Can't paste cells from Numbers into Pages I created a spreadsheet in Numbers and when I select and copy the cells of the sheet and try to paste them into Pages, it won't paste. The content is in the clipboard because I'm able to paste into other programs. I've just updated the OS and Numbers but that didn't fix it. I've also tried creating a table in Pages and pasting into the table but that doesn't work either. The great irony here is that if I export it to XLSX and copy from Excel, I can paste into Pages from Excel! I'm on a 2022 Macbook Pro.

Do Excel keyboard shortcuts work on the iPad app or web version using my iPad Air 5? I just bought an iPad Air 5 and one of the things I’m using it for is some Excel work. I’m currently using a Logitech K400 Bluetooth keyboard with it (not iOS exclusive, it’s compatible to other devices like my Lenovo ThinkPad; here’s a link to the device - https://www.logitech.com/en-ph/products/keyboards/k400-plus-touchpad-keyboard.920-007166.html). I’ve noticed a lot of the keyboard shortcuts I use don’t work on either the app or the live web version of Excel (I have a premium Microsoft 365 account). I was wondering if the shortcuts don’t work because of the Excel iPad app itself or if it has something to do with the keyboard i.e. if I buy an Apple keyboard or if I use my iPad with the Magic Keyboard case, will I be able to use the shortcuts? Some sample shortcuts/keys I’ve found doesn’t work or doesn’t work like it would in the Excel desktop version: - CTRL + down arrow to get to the next cell w/ data - All arrow keys to go to the next cell (only in the browser version; I can use the arrow keys to switch cells in the iPad app) - F2 function key to edit the data in the cell - CTRL + “C” and CTRL + “V” to copy and paste data - CTRL + space bar and CTRL + SHIFT + “=“ to highlight a row and add a new row next to it

Cannot paste tables from Numbers into Pages I am just copying someone else'e comment, because I have exactly the same problem and the answers have been totally off the mark: I cannot manage to copy information (a table) from a document in Numbers to a document in Pages. When I paste, nothing appears. When I paste in another app (e.g. a text editor), the data appears as expected, so the clipboard does contain the data. I have tried using the Menu (Edit > Copy / Paste). I have tried CMD+C / CMD+V. Copying from and pasting to other applications works fine. I can copy from/to Numbers from/to a text editor, and from/to Notes. (A neat table shows up when pasting in Notes) I can copy from/to Pages from/to a text editor and from/to Notes I have tried quitting the apps (Numbers and Pages), restarting my mac, and I have tried killing pboard I am just absolutely unable to copy a table from Numbers to Pages. It is extremely frustrating. (As a workaround, I'm pasting the table first in Notes, then Copy from there and paste in Pages. This works).
