Getting authorization code

I open an email on my iPhone SE and it says to go to my email to get the authorization code. But when I do that it closes the authorization code and I can’t get back to that window. How do I do this?

Mail App new password problems Hello, I changed my Gmail password online on my Mac and now my iPhone (11) Mail App won't accept the new password. It automatically brings me to the steps to enter the new password under "Settings" but then it tells me to open my Gmail app and enter the # that is provided as a multi factor authentication safety thing, which is fine. I successfully pass through that, but then when I go to open the iPhone Mail App, it says to enter the password under "Settings" as it did before and it keeps repeating. Can anyone please advise? Thank you in advance. PS - I know I can easily access my email with the Gmail App but I like the iPhone Mail App much better. And it bugs me that my phone won't accept the new password although my Mac does.

Email signin to iphone From the description of ios17: Email or phone number sign-in lets you sign into your iPhone with any email address or phone number listed in your Apple ID account is this an opt-in? Does this mean anyone can get into your phone if they know your email or phone number? Where is the security in this?

Help with verifying an email password I can’t figure out in settings where to verify my email password and my phone. My iPhone keeps asking me to verify it helps.
