Why is Apple charging me when I canceled Apple TV before the trial ended?

I am getting charged when I canceled Apple TV almost immediately after accepting a free trial.

Charged Twice For Apple TV Since September Apple has charged me for Apple TV after the expiry of a 6 month mobile phone deal discount although I had separately obtained a free subscription through my bank from then on. I have since cancelled the mobile phone Apple TV subscription but by end-Jan 2025 I will have unnecessarily paid for 5 months of subscriptions for the same service they were already getting paid for by my bank. This breaches Apple's duty to treat customers fairly. How do I (a) complain that Apple never warned me I was overpaying? and (b) get a refund of the overpaid £40+ from Apple?

if it was me then I would check

If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

and then I would read

If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support

and then maybe

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

if that did not resolve my issue then I would reach out to their support channels
