iPhone 12 unable to connect to Music app on Macbook

My iPhone 12 mini (ios 16.7.2) isn't registering in Music (1.2.5.7) on my desktop (Monterey). Thus I cannot add any music or backup my iPhone.

It registers in Photos just fine.

How do I solve this problem?
