Has anyone had issues with AdBlock

I don’t recall requesting the AdBlock app to be installed; however, the issue has been trying to remove it and stop the payment of $9.95 each month!! I have tried cancelling it and my “subscriptions” tab in settings shows I don’t have a subscription. When I reached out to AdBlock’s customer service, I was told to request a refund from Apple - so here I am!!! Any ideas or help??

iPhone 11, iOS 17

Apple provides this guidance if you are unable to see a subscription you are being billed for:

  • If a family member's Apple ID appears on the receipt, ask that family member to use the steps in this article to cancel the subscription. You can’t cancel a family member's subscription.
  • If another Apple ID that you use appears on the receipt, sign in with that Apple ID and use the steps in this article to cancel the subscription.
  • If you can't find a receipt from Apple for the subscription, you might have bought the subscription from another company. To find out which company bills you, check your bank or credit card statement. To cancel the subscription, you must contact the company that bills you for the subscription.

With that information:

  • Is it on a Mac or iPhone?
  • Did you get an invoice in your email or any other information about AdBlock?
  • Where do you see this billed and what name is on the statement?
  • Is it possible it could have been purchased using a different Apple ID?
  • Are you able to see the purchase when checking online at the reportaproblem website here:
