Update on my battery drain iPhone 14 Pro Max

So the update to iOS 17.2.1 helped.

I also did some research & this YouTube video helped immensely!

Brand new iPhone 15 Pro and I can basically sit and watch the battery drain. Less than a week old. Disappointed beyond belief. Have tried a lot of the things online and hate the thought of going back to spectrum as have had 2 visits and both were over 2 hours each time. (Was given wrong phone first, then had to go back to get to get upgraded to 15 pro. I should have kept the 15). Any suggestions on how to fix this without going back to waste my life. Have tried hard reset, adjusted some of the settings, backed it up, updates are done. For $1000 I expected a lot better than this. Any help would be appreciated. I am not ‘real’ tech savvy. Thank you!!!

I have an old XS phone that overheat as soon as I touch it and I have turned off everything on the phone really that can drain it. (Since the update before the battery was fine), it eats my battery to the point that I have to have It in the charger all the time, 100% to 0% take 3h (if i dont use it alot).. I now need a new phone.. but who want to buy a new phone with the same problem. That battery will for sure be damaged so fast. :(

I just purchased a brand new iphone PM15 yesterday. I still have my iphone Pro 13. Both phones were at 79% this morning. I was only on the phone for several hours on PM15 and the battery went from 79 to 25 in two hours. My 13 is at 59 - I used my apps because PM hadnt downloaded the apps. PM15 will be returned.

Also same experience with 14 Pro Max...terrible battery drain iOS 17.2

And no, I had turned off the always-on display since I bought the phone, so the screen was fully off

Me as well only I have 14 Pro Max these updates get worse and worse

I cannot find important locations in system services

iPhone 13 Pro Max and same, I’ve had to charge my phone twice for the day already and i usually just charge it once.

no major phone usage as well. 😩

Battery drain heating until 0% even its off (shutdown) after ios 17.2.1 ear speaker not working too, using iphone 15 pro, bought in November 10. What are you doing apple.

iOS 17.2.1 - iPhone 15 Pro Max has been draining with always on display on w/ no wallpaper.

Nope switching it to any other model will not help you. As it's an software issue, which even I am facing in my 14 pro max. So better wait for the fix :)

Did you mean Significant Locations? Why would you need to do this?

I have an iPhone XR my battery capacity was 97% i updated to iOS 17.3 now my battery capacity is 82% how the **** did that happen? Apple should really fix this issue
