Battery with no previous autonomy problems now can't function without being plugged after sonoma update

I have a 2018 mbp, and since I have done the Sonoma update, my battery has completely lost all autonomy, to the point where my macbook cannot function unless it is plugged in. The battery is getting quite old, but I never had any problems with it until the update. I have seen a lot of people talking about the software draining the battery faster, but not to that point. Anybody has any idea of what I should do?

Thank you

Olivier
