How to use monitor built-in usb hub?

I use external monitor iiyama PROLITE XB2283HSU-B1. There is usb hub but mac can't identify whatever I connect there (printer, keyboard, phone). Only my phone was charging, which, I guess, points that usb hub is working.

What I can do about that? I can't change the monitor sound settings as well, but that doesn't bother me. Restart doesn't help

Mac mini, macOS 14.1

In addition to the HDMI or DisplayPort video display cable, you need to connect a USB cable from the Mac mini to the iiyama display's upstream USB port.
