Apple Music opening randomly - why? and how do I stop it?
Apple music keeps opening at random. This happens periodically, meaning that there have been periods over the last few years when it frequently opens. For the last 24 hours the problem has started again ,and with maddening frequency. Sometimes it opens again as soon as I close it, sometimes it takes 10 or 15 minutes before it opens again. Things I have already done:
- checked that Music is not set to open at log in (it is not)
- installed another music player in hopes that it would become the default
- completely decoupled Music from any libraries so that it opens quickly instead of hanging the entire system while it opens
What can I do to prevent Music from opening automatically? Or how can I uninstall Music?
