Apple TV HD and Xbox Series S/X Controller (connective issues)

Xbox Series S/X Controller (Model 1914) just doesn't connect with my Apple TV HD.

Note: tvOS is up to date, same with the controller firmware.

Anyone having the same issue?

The Apple TV runs the latest OS and I'm using a high-speed HDMI cable to ensure I have sufficient bandwidth and capability between my TV and the Apple TV. However, without having identified a specific pattern, in 2 out of 10 times, when switching on the Apple TV, my TV doesn't get switched on. Any ideas why this could be the case? apple tv+ won't play on desktop mac Programs on apple tv+ won't play after the trailers and 'previously on.' Even programs that have been bought won't play. Once 'previously on' finishes, the program's visuals are digitally garbled. Can't find an answer on google that addresses the issue. Other than resetting apple tv on settings, but can't locate the settings.
