I want to know is lost and theft case covered in apple care+

There are three levels of AppleCare
- AppleCare - the standard plan which is one year and is standard with all new iPhones
- AppleCare+ - A plan you purchase within 60 days of original purchase, which provides reduced cost services for accidental damage
- AppleCare+ Theft & Loss - the most expensive AppleCare+ Plan, which specifically covers theft and loss
If you purchased the Theft & Loss Plan, to file a claim is dependent on whether Find My was enabled before the phone was lost or stolen. Even if you paid for Theft & Loss, if Find My was not enabled before the phone was lost or stolen a claim would be denied.
If you purchased a plan, you also received an email from Apple at the beginning of the plan, which details what your plan covers. I would hope you kept a copy of such an important email?
