What can I use to connect a 27" Apple LED Cinema Display - MC007LL/A (Mini Display Port) to my usb-c MacBook Air? (The monitor prior the the 27" Thunderbolt display.)

The Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter says it is not compatible with any Cinema Display Mini Display Port.

You need a USB-C to Mini DisplayPort Adapter, such as:

I believe that you may also need to run a USB connection to your MacBook Air (e.g., using a USB-C to USB adapter; or a USB-A port on a dock), to adjust things like brightness and contrast.
