itunes library has disappeared from my laptop

Library completely from laptop, no songs listed whatsoever. Around 18000 songs lost.

Windows, Windows 10

By any chance have you just subscribed to Apple Music. If so, see:

If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support

If not, see:

Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrad… - Apple Community
