A note that I have on my iPhone that is saved to iCloud is not refreshing on my iPad. How do you refresh the note for an update

notes across devices.

I have an iPhone 12 and an iPad 10th generation. The note is on the iCloud. I made notes on my iPhone, and the next day was going to further the note on my iPad, but there was no evidence on the iPad that I had taken any further notes.
