MacBook Air M2 Liquid Damage
I spilled tea with sugar on my mac. I wiped the keyboard and turn it upside down to protection. And after that I brought the computer to service to prevent any negative affect. It was working properly, no any sympthom. After two days, today, they send me a bill and said some of buttons doesn't work normally and Touch ID is not available anymore and also they added If the price is okey for me they can fix it with changing top case with keyboard and also Touch ID. I said I need to check it myself and went to the service. In the service I noticed all my buttons and Touch ID is working normally. Just some of buttons' bottom is sticky because of sugar. When I asked about any other component they said there is no other component that is affected, just keyboard and Touch ID but come on they are working well :/ .They said there is no option to disassemble for this Mac which is M2 and changing top case is necessary. Is it true? Is there no chance to clean bottom side of buttons?
