My Thunderbolt peripherals don't show up since I've updated to macOS Sonoma 14.1.2

My Thunderbolt peripherals don't show up since I've updated. Fine before, gone since then. Restarts, shutdowns, utilities - nothing. Before I do a reinstall I'd like to find out if I'm missing anything else.

Thunderbolt and SD cards on iMac are not working Hello ! I have a strange problem : if I plug in a SD card or a Thunderbolt to my iMac 27 late 2015 (macOS 12.7.2) before I turn it on, my iMac detects my devices, but if I plug them in after my user session is opened, my iMac doesn't detect them. Even on the system info app these devices doesn't appear ! I really don't know what is the problem... Thank you for your help and have a nice day !

MacBook M4 Pro Shows Thunderbolt/USB4 Instead of Thunderbolt 5 Hi Everyone, I recently purchased a MacBook M4 Pro, which, according to Apple's official specs, should have Thunderbolt 5 ports. However, when I check the system information, it only shows Thunderbolt/USB 4. Screenshot below. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a software issue, or is there a way to verify if the ports support Thunderbolt 5 features? Thanks in advance!

My not help, but the latest version of macOS Sonoma is now 14.2. You may want to update your Mac to that version to see if that resolves this issue.

Have you checked with each of the peripheral's manufacturers to see if there is a firmware update required?
