Spirited will not play with Apple TV + subscription

I have an up to date subscription to Apple TV + and when I try to play Spirited through the AppleTV+ app on my Roku it gives me an internet error.. However every other AppleTV+ show streams without any issues on my Roku. I tried playing Spirited on the AppleTV app on my phone and it will play on that without any issue- so this doesn't seem to have anything to do with my subscription..


I also made sure my roku is using the latest software for both the Roku itself and the AppleTV+ app (removed and re-installed the app to make sure).


It seems like there is something wrong with the AppleTV+ Roku app. Unfortunately we rely on Rokus on all our TVs to use our AppleTV+ subscription and cannot have more than one box on any TV so it has to stay this way.

Another user (mygreensocks) suggested this procedure from Roku Support staff, which reportedly helped several users.

1. Remove the Apple TV app,
2. Shut off and unplug the TV (or streaming device),
3. Wait 30 seconds,
4. Plug the TV (or streaming device) back in,
5. Reload the Apple TV app.


Else try the Network Connection Reset, as mentioned by user Jarieta.


If the issue persists after that, then please contact the Apple Support staff for further assistance.
