No option to turn on Home Sharing in iTunes PC
I'm trying to turn on Home Sharing in iTunes on my PC but there is no option in the File menu.
It is the latest version of iTunes and I have signed in with my Apple ID and authorized the computer.

See Use Home Sharing to share media from a computer to other devices - Apple Support. You might try signing out of your Apple ID and then signing in again. If you still cannot make it work you could try uninstalling iTunes and install the previous build. See the very bottom of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates - Apple Community for links.

Uninstalling iTunes and installing the previous version worked. Thanks for the help it greatly appreciated.
I unfortunately had the same problem, and going back three versions restored the missing "Home Sharing" item to the File menu in iTunes on Windows 11. Is this menu item likely to become a normal part of iTunes (and its sibling apps) on Windows in the future, or might the feature be phased out instead?
You're welcome. 🙂

I honestly don't know. Apple have been known to break and then fix things from time to time, and also remove features permanently for no apparently obvious reason. The only constant is change.
