I just got a warning that Safari was downloading files and this from some MacAffe something virus checker which I do not have anybody know anything about this? I followed some 2018 instructions to go to setting/privacy and deleted Website Data from Safari.
Anything else I should be doing?

Did this warning happen while using Safari? Sounds like a scam to me, there are many such fraudulent popups claiming that your computer is 'infected'. Just ignore it, you cleared website data so you're all good.
