I broke both metal clips on the inside of my phone will my phone still work without the smaller one

I accidently ripped both the metal pieces trying to replace my screen and I got my new screen but it does not have the top small metal clip would my phone still be useable or I need to get that smaller metal clip as well?

Apple iPhone screen replacement and performance? I have never replaced my iPhone screen before, and was thinking of doing so because I noticed some small scratches on it. And it's bothering me a lot. If I change the screen from Apple, will it have any performance issues? Will it behave like before? Will I see any changes, or will it not be noticeable at all? I mean i have no doubts, but wanted to see if it's better to keep the current screen on. I appreciate any logical information in this case. Thank you. :)

Sounds like you have destroyed your phone, no one here could tell you if it will ever work again. You're on your own.
