Charging IPhone 15 Pro

I've plugged in a USB-C power adaptor into a wall outlet and used the USB-C cable that came with the I Phone. The charging symbol blinks on and off continuously but does not charge. I had it plugged into the wall for 30 minutes and it stayed at 1%. I then plugged the same cord into my PC laptop and it is charging, now at 54%.

I tried the fix with pressing both volume buttons and then power button but this did not fix the problem when the phone powered up. same issue.

Is it not unusual that the USB-C cable works in the laptop but not the wall outlet?

This is extremly frustraiting and inconvenient.

Appears that it is neither the cable nor the iPhone for not charging when plugged in the wall with a USB-C adapter. I recommend that you test the charging by using another wall adapter with the same cable. That will conclude whether the adapter is good or not.

Mine was doing the same. I went to the Apple Store and they basically said they can’t be sure it wasn’t a damage of misuse on part. I bought the phone in the end of November, and I was like that since day 1, with the cable it came from. So I was using my Mac charger, it was intermittent, but still charged (I was out of the country and only went there 2 months after buying it). Even though my phone is under the warranty period and I’m paying for the AppleCare+Theft, I had to pay $99, cause they said there’s nothing they can do. There’s no proof I was not the one that damaged the charging port. And they also said there were no records of me contacting them (even though I explained I was out of the country), so that as it.
