Need Help With iCloud email address

I am needing some serious help with my iPhone. Specifically my iCloud email address. For a week now I have been unable to send / receive emails. I get pops up saying my iCloud password is incorrect. Or occasionally one stating there was an issue with the outgoing mail server. The thing is, the password is not incorrect. In fact I have changed it 3 times since this issue occurred to make sure it wasn’t the case. I have signed in and out of iCloud, force restarted the phone, and signed back in. Each time this DOES resolve the issue but only for a few hours before it is back to being unable to send or receive any emails. I even tried going to iCloud on the computer and resetting the password there and forcing all devices to sign out in hopes that would reset whatever is causing the issue. I have also reset network settings on my iPhone. I have done just about everything besides factory reset my iPhone. Apple themselves were not even any help. The only thing I can tie to the issue is this, last Monday I ran out of iCloud storage so the emails stopped working. I immediately within a few hours went and upgraded to the 200gb plan to restore service. Currently only using 51.6 GB of those 200. It took a couple days for me to notice it was not working. I only did when I tried to send an email and realized it kept going to outbox instead of sending and also realized had not gotten an email since the email telling me I was out of space. Like I said the only way to get it working is to completely delete the account of my phone, force restart the phone, and then sign back in and each time this only fixes it for a few hours. Should also add I have tried this on wifi and my cellular plan and both have the same outcome. Somebody PLEASE have a solution

  1. Sometimes, issues with iCloud services might be occurring on Apple's end. You can check the status of iCloud services on the Apple System Status page. If there's a problem reported, it might explain the recurring issue.
  2. Deleting the account from your iPhone and re-adding it might not have worked due to certain settings or configurations being retained. However, try removing the account again, restart the phone, and then add the account back, but ensure you add it as new and not restore from backup when prompted.
  3. Double-check the email settings for your iCloud account. Make sure the incoming and outgoing server settings are correctly configured. You can find these settings under Settings > Mail > Accounts > iCloud > Account >
  4. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
    1. Restart the device. That's it.
    2. Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  5. If the issue persists, you can try resetting all settings on your iPhone. This will not erase your data but will reset all personalized settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset All Settings and confirm the action. Note that you will need to reconfigure your settings afterward. All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, the Home screen layout, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.
    1. Reset All Settings: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support:- Return iPhone settings to their defaults
    2. You can return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.
    3. If you want to save your settings, back up your iPhone before returning them to their defaults. For example, if you’re trying to solve a problem but returning settings to their defaults doesn’t help, you might want to restore your previous settings from a backup.
  6. Make sure you have the latest updates installed.
    1. Update Over-the-Air (OTA) —> Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (IN)
    2. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to reach out to Apple Support or visit an authorized service center for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your device model and iOS version.

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their Apple ID.

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.
