Not able access Netflix - getting error code ATV-ui187

I see that several people had this issue in November 2022 (separate thread). I am just getting it now. I think my Apple TV is Gen 3.

Thanks Rudegar, for your reply - appreciate your taking the time.

The Netflix page you linked currently just says they're working on it (and has done for the last couple of days, as I've ended up there a fair few times). The other link you offered must be talking about more recent Apple TVs, as I don't have a "clear data" option.


But in the end I took the leap and factory reset the Apple TV, and that has worked to clear the data. (Restarting it did not, nor did rebooting everything.)


Everything has to be set up from scratch then, but pretty sure I'm good to go now
