What is the best, most user friendly scanner for 27" iMac and Sonoma 14.1.1?

As with all devices there is no best, however there are multiple devices available that will suit most peoples needs. As we have ZERO ideas what your needs are and only you can really pinpoint those needs you have to do your own due diligence and research what makes and models come closest to fitting your needs exactly.

There is no best car, no best house, no be computer, no best phone, no best team etc... that is why selections exist to find one that suits your needs.

Thank you for that. I have been doing my due diligence and reading reviews. I just am amazed how finicky these devices seem to be. I just want to be able to scan documents, convert them to editable text and scan photos. I read a review that says the best scanner ever and the next is a one star can't get it to work. I was hoping for a "avoid Epson" or "Canon works great." I know everyone's set up is different, hence the different experiences. I just wanted a broad view from Mac users. Thank you!
