Xfinity/Comcast sub folders showing in Apple Mail on Mabook Pro but NOT on iPhone or iPad

This makes no sense, but hopefully someone out there will have a solution.


My wife uses Comcast email (not my choice). She has for years. On her Mac Book Pro, all of the sub folders and additional folders she made in Comcast’s webmail synch to Apple Mail….no problem.


They were fine on the iPhone. But yesterday I had to delete account and re add and change passwords. Now, the only thing under Comcast is an in box. Same on iPad I added account to. Yes they are imap and not pop. I’m very tech savvy. It seems completely illogical that it’s synching on one device and not others. I’ve deleted, re added, rebooted, etc.


Apple support says it’s Comcast issue and Comcast you can’t get a Tier 2 person on the phone to save your life. This is a big issue for my wife as she has many folders with saved work emails etc. and they are no longer visible on the phone.


Grateful for any solutions.
