MacBook Air Battery Management for always plugged in user

I bought a new MacBook Air for my wife and I want to ask about battery health. She loves the size and feel of a MacBook Air but she rarely takes the computer anywhere so it is always on her desk plugged in. My understanding is that it is not good for the battery to have the computer always plugged in. So my question is what is the best way to manage battery health for a user like this that always has their machine plugged in? I've suggested periodically unplugging it and draining the battery down then charging it back up which is ok but I'm wondering if there is an automated way to handle this because I doubt she remembers to do this that often. Does macOS built in battery health management account cover this issue or would a third party battery management app be a good option or am I just overthinking it and its not really important? ;)

Thanks for any feedback...
