I reset my phone to use another phone. When I opened WhatsApp on the new phone, i only have messages from 2 months ago were visible. how can i fix this

You had to transfer your WhatsApp messages from the old phone to the new phone. If you did not do this they are unrecoverable. WhatsApp does not keep copies of your messages; that is your responsibility. It is an important security feature.
