Watch SE volume way too low

Device: Watch SE

OS: 10.1.1

Issue: Volume ultra low in max setting.

Context: Using Apple Music app, and songs loaded from Mac to iPhone, and synced to watch.

1. I’ve checked sound safety, that’s all disabled
2. Turned up sound and haptics to max manually in settings
3. Tried different audio player
4. Different headphones (I have two Beats Studio pro earbuds)
5. Unpaired:repaired headphones
6. Reboot
7. Erase and install with no backup files.
8. my iPhone 14pm is much louder at just half volume compare to the watch max volume setting
9. Turned off iPhone Bluetooth (and powered off iPhone) to ensure I’m listening exclusively on the watch.

Im waiting for the 10.2 to download and install, just not sure if that will make a difference.

I tried googling but I’m just getting a bunch of how to load music and simple volume settings.

What am I missing. I’m about to contact support, but wanted to ask the community first really quick.
