iOS 17 now & update in the future

What's an inexpensive iPhone that uses iOS 17 and can probably upgrade to future iOS? I ask because the iPhone 7-Plus that I use is stuck on iOS 15 and my main app, Outlook for iOS app, that I want to use is not supported by 15 so I'd like to upgrade as cheap as possible since I don't have any spare money these days.

I'd even be totally willing to buy a used iPhone off of one of the users here who has upgraded to another model.

I realize I'll not be able to use my awesome OtterBox protector case on a different model. Maybe a used one would also come with a useable case.

I use T-Mobile service. I really don't care about how many gigabytes of storage it has or anything like that. A basic iPhone is all I need.

Any of the current new and current refurb iPhone models available from Apple will get multiple years of updates, based on Apple past practices.

If you want some years of updates, and want an older and used iPhone, then stay away from the oldest on this list:

I’d assume roughly five years of iOS updates from when the particular iPhone model first started shipping. (Not from when it was last sold.)
