I didn't install my software update for years, and now my Mac cannot find any update whatsoever.

Hi,

I use MacBook AIR (13-INCH, 2017) with macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.6.

I want to update it to the newest possible macOS, but unfortunately, my computer doesn't find any updates.

I have received notifications to update my computer for years but have not installed them, and now this option disappeared.

A MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017) can update as far as Monterey – but no further. Monterey is one of the "most recent three" that get security updates and the most "love" from application vendors, and will be for close to a year – until Sonoma's successor comes out.

The App Store likes to hide old versions of macOS. To get them, use the links in this support document:

It's a good idea to use Safari (and have Safari set as your default Web browser) when doing this. Trying to follow App Store links with other browsers may result in misleading, dismaying, and incorrect error messages.

If you upgrade to Catalina or later,
