Bluetooth device battery not showing

When i connect to my bluetooth speaker (ion dunk) battery % is not showing up anywhere, i have tried everything, it is connected but it just never appears as a device with battery, it works normally but i just can't find the battery, i have an iphone 12 pro and am currently on ios 17.1.2 but it has never actually shown the battery, even on a different model, if there's something i can do please let me know
