I can’t delete certain apps in my folder like google home or tesla, and if I try to move them out of the folder it duplicates itself.

So I tried to move my google home app to my folder, and it would put the app in the folder as a duplicate, so now I have google home in my Home Screen and in the folder, Home Screen I can delete by using the remove from home screen option, but when I try to delete it from the folder there’s no option except delete app. I would try to move the app to a diff page in the folder but it would only duplicate itself again. I tried deleting the app but it becomes a white icon with grey stripes and then I can’t do anything to it until I reinstall the app back.. this is happening so far for my google home app and my tesla app

iPhone 13, iOS 17

I'd guess something has gotten corrupted with this install (ran out of free storage, or some other corruption), and which is why you're getting the no-icon-available icon:

Once that icon starts appearing on the home screens for apps installed from the app store or for apps deleted from the home screens (there are a few cases where this is "normal", but those cases are usually buried pretty deeply in Settings displays somewhere), the iPhone or iPad is usually badly tangled, and is headed for a factory reset.

Back up, factory reset, and re-install.

Thank you for the response, but it’s more like the app just duplicates itself if I move it to the folder, and when I try to delete it in the folder it becomes that app symbol or vice versa. I didn’t have this problem before it just started after the new update for me…. I’ve tried reinstalling it and deleting its cache and all but still the same issues, even for new apps too.
