I know I can restart my Mac and it works again but why doesn't Apple just fix the problem?
This has happened several times and my wife gets very frustrated until I "fix it".
I'm a retired IT guy but I would fire my programmers if they let this problem persist.
I am sure Steve Jobs would too.
