My Iphone would not update automatically so I have connected it to Itunes to install the 17.2 update. The update failed and phone now has a white screen that shows swipe up to upgrade, it then asks for a passcode.
I have reconnected the phone to Itunes and I get unknown error 0xE000015.
How am I supposed to reset my phone or restore it to a previous backup if Itunes cannot connect to it?

Update***
I have now found that holding down the power button and connecting it to itunes will set the phone into restore mode. Itunes is now running to reset and update.

Re-tried restore with itunes and now its finally back up and downloading apps. Maybe this thread may help someone.

Clicked Itunes to restore but same unknown error 0xE000015 and phone went back to the white screen
