Find a Powered off Stolen iPhone 15 Pro Max

My wife and I were in a car accident, both our phones were in the car when it was towed to the lot. We recieved updates on the location until they ran out of battery the next day. When we went to go retrive our belongings from the car, my wife's phone was missing although they showed the same location, up until they powered off.

Is there anyway to track or recover her iPhone 15 if it was stolen from the car? We've searched the car throughly and it's not in there.

We marked it as lost using FindMy and can see it's last location is still the tow yard.

Any ideas are appreciated!

On newer phone models when the battery discharges and is unable to support running the device, it enters a very low power mode that enables only the bluetooth beacon. But, when the battery is fully exhausted, no more signal is generated so the device will not be detected.

You can remotely wipe the device, but that will only take effect when powered and connected to a network. iCloud.com/find
