HomePod Mini audio cuts out when playing from MacBook Air.

When I play music from my MacBook Air, the audio from HomePod Mini randomly cuts out. It does it a lot. Whether it's Music on Mac, or YouTube or whatever, the audio playing from HomePod Mini cuts out. It does not happen, however, when I'm playing audio from an iOS device. And the sound is better from the iOS source too.

HomePod Mini audio cutting out I love the sound from my HomePod Mini. The problem is that when playing audio from my MacBook Air, the audio cuts out for several seconds at a time. It happens very frequently and absolutely ruins my audio experience. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Apple Music or YouTube, it just happens all the time. Homepod as sound output from Mac Mini issue I love my homepod but I've had issues with as long as I've owned it. I use a 2018 Mac Mini to stream music to it. Playing music with either Music, VLC, or YouTube. The Mac has both Ethernet & WiFi & is on the same network as the homepod. In general I don't have any issues with connecting to the Homepod, but at times no sound will come from the Homepod. If keep the music 'playing' but switch the sound output on my MacMini (using the menu bar sound drop down) sure enough the track is playing & non network connected devices play it fine. If I put on a album to listen to, it will be playing fine, then all of a sudden I'll just get minutes of silence as the Homepod decides to just not play sound from one track. Also I have an intermittent issue of when disconnecting the Mac from the Homepod it will sometimes disrupt the Network connection to my Mac, causing network drives to disconnect.
