I have a Samsung M8 Monitor connected to my M2 Mac Mini via USBC. For some reason I can only send 30hz refresh to the monitor in my mac settings.
Is there anyway to send a faster refresh rate. Nothing looks smooth.

Replace the Samsung factory supplied USB-C cable with a better cable.

Connect HDMI-HDMI and the monitor’s upstream USB-C port to the mini’s A port using a C-A adapter/cable, should fix.
This didn’t work for me. Tried it with the 1m cable.
