Can I return my MacBook Air if I delete all the downloads

I accidentally got the 15 inch MacBook Air instead of the 13 inch which is just way too big for me, but I had to use it for school and finals. If I delete all the files downloaded can I still return the 15 inch MacBook?

You don't have to erase anything. Apple would do that anyway.

If you mean all your own downloads then yes you can delete but like already stated Apple will wipe the drive anyway.
