Can’t play selected show on Apple TV

Since ATV4k 17.2 update, I often can’t play anything I select in the TV app. I navigate to the “chiclet” of any show or movie, press center button on remote, nothing happens. If I long press, I get the contextual menu, but none of those options work either. Reboot fixes it as will closing the TV app and reopening it…but problem comes back in about a day. Not a network or TV issue. Is this a new bug? Anyone else having this issue, and discover a fix?

I have the same issue, nothing is selectable, it’s intermittent.

We thought it might have been related to the OS upgrade and the remote, but switching to the remote built into our iPhones brought the same response. Like you a reboot got it working, but this was only our first incident, so we will see how the next few days go.

I have the same problem. All streaming apps work except Apple TV+ which has connection errors or streaming errors. I’ve tried and reset and update and no change. It’s driving me nuts. Has there been a fix for this?
