Prime app does not seem to be working with apple TV

Whenever I trying using the Prime App on my Apple TV, the cursor moves to the next icon every time I click. It is not possible to hit "select" on anything. All my Prime info is up to date. I've also been having trouble with the Paramount Plus app. It thinks I am not subscribed but indeed I am, and I have the receipts to prove it.

Update your Apple TV system software to the current version, if not done already. How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support


Try this for any misbehaving app:

  1. Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
  2. If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
  3. If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
  4. If the issue still persists, then contact the app developer for further assistance.


I've also been having trouble with the Paramount Plus app. It thinks I am not subscribed but indeed I am, and I have the receipts to prove it.
  • Paramount+ as started in the Apple TV app, is valid for the Apple TV app channel, not the Paramount+ app.
  • Paramount+ as started in the Paramount+ app on an Apple device, is valid for the Paramount+ app on any Apple device. You may need to ‘Restore Purchases’ for secondary devices, or after reinstalls or resets.
  • Paramount+ as started with Paramount+ directly, is valid for the Paramount+ app on any device, but not for the Apple TV app channel of the same name. Sign in with your Paramount+ account; not your Apple ID.
  • Paramount+ as started in the Paramount+ app on a third party device or through a third party app, is valid for that third party device or app, not in the Paramount+ app on Apple devices, nor in the Apple TV app.

These types of subscriptions have different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations, and are (generally) not exchangeable.
