Apple Maps finds contacts but wont show address to get directions

I used to type in a name and get to choose from the addresses in their contacts. After the most recent update I now get “no matching places found”. Interestingly it seems to work on my older ipad but not on my iphone14. The work around I have been using is to go to contacts and choose the address I want directions for. When I work the problem backwards it display the directions with the directions labeled with the persons name (e.g. John Doe’s Home. Anyone else seeing this?? Any fix to change settings??
