Find My Mac

Guys and Girls,

I can find my iPhone and my Watch on "Find My" but I cannot find my MacStudio although It's sitting in front of me. It says my iMac is off line.

It only shows my iMac (that is offline) and not my new MacStudio that I'm setting up.

I've gone to Privacy & Security in settings and everything is turned on.

How do I put it online?

Any suggestions?

Set up Find My on Mac - Apple Support

I'm guessing that Find My on a Mac might work better if you have Wi-Fi turned on – even if your actual connection to the Internet is through the Ethernet port. It's possible that the software guesses at the machine's location in part by comparing Wi-Fi networks that it sees to a database of Wi-Fi networks and physical locations.
